As a social psychologist and social media trainer on LinkedIn, I’ve decided to create a "Learning Event". It’s not about only teaching LinkedIn; it’s about you learning that social media and social networks – are what make LinkedIn work when you replace some current, daily, online behaviors.
I’ve heard that social media and LinkedIn have become social ‘notworking’. Why? Because too much focus has been on the technology and not incorporating the tool in your EVERYDAY work online and in personal networking. So, to take the work out of networking - you need to learn in a collaborative and problem-solving way.
I’ve been coaching individuals and consulting businesses with LinkedIn and problems:
- developing career & new business strategies in social media,
- effectively utilizing LinkedIn features everyday,
- developing LinkedIn profiles that make-a-difference and,
- using the effective LinkedIn features thru 'network thinking'.
Success comes from social science and social network analysis research that's accelerated by new, daily social media behaviors.
That's the basis for creating this "Learning Event".
